Do you need TÜV registration ? To comply with Section 19 Para. 3 StVZO, your vehicle must undergo evaluation by an officially recognized expert, technical testing center, or testing engineer.

A valid Quality Management (QM) system and E-approval for optimization modules, are prerequisites for obtaining a TÜV parts report or part type approval / ABE. H.&N. Electronics GmbH holds a QM system recognized by the German Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA-ZM-A 00011-15), and all Diesel Power® and MultiMotion® optimization modules offered, have E1 approval (E110R06/029979* 00), recognized in all United Nations countries.

With an E-approval, optimization modules can be installed in motor vehicles, as an "electronic subassembly".

The TÜV parts report or part type approval / ABE, provides information on exhaust behavior, performance, noise emissions, and top speed.

H.&N. Electronics GmbH possesses over 600 TÜV parts certificates, for more than 3000 vehicle types. However, providing TÜV parts reports for all vehicles, compatible with our optimization modules, may not be feasible.

As of January 1st, 2022, the TÜV parts report has been replaced by a part type approval / ABE requirement. The testing scope and documentation requirements for engines compliant, with Euro 6d ISC-FCM (Euro 6d Full) and Euro 7 "Ready" emissions standards, have expanded significantly, making obtaining a part type approval / ABE, economically feasible only in specific cases
(refer to traffic bulletin issue 8 – 2021, pages 409 – 415).

Development, production and sales, according to German quality standards, in Germany.

Through the use of specially designed components for the highest requirements in the automotive sector, including for processing signals from the new digital sensor generations (SENT), the optimization systems from Diesel Power® and MultiMotion® are leaders in quality, safety and reliability.

In the automotive sector, it is not the pure performance data of the components installed that are important, but rather their stability against thermal and mechanical stress.

We only use the highest quality “low voltage” components, which enables us to operate all Diesel Power® and MultiMotion® optimization systems with a supply voltage of 5 volts. This makes installation considerably easier, as there is no need for a separate 12 volt connection and the entire electronic system is therefore significantly less prone to errors.

For peace of mind, all Diesel Power® and MultiMotion® products are backed by a 3-year warranty, from the original date of purchase.

It's important to note, that the legally regulated liability, for material defects (warranty), cannot be excluded by the vehicle manufacturer, even with tuning measures, as long as the installed component, has the necessary approvals, such as E1 certification and TÜV parts certificate.

This means, that the vehicle manufacturer must honor warranty claims, even if non-factory-approved accessories have been installed, unless it can be proven, that the damage was caused by a non-factory component.

Additionally, engine warranties can be arranged through our partner, NSA Insurance. Certified optimization electronics, are designed to safeguard against motor damage, as the safety devices stored in the engine control unit, at the factory are retained.

We advise against relying solely on free, company-internal guarantee insurance, without reinsurance coverage, as benefits may only be provided, if the guarantor has sufficient liquid funds. In most cases, the burden of proof, rests with the customer.

We also offer a 30 day money back guarantee. If you are not satisfied, with the product in any way within 30 days of receipt of the product, please contact the office and lodge your return request. We will issue an RMA number and you can return the goods, at your cost, for a full refund of the original order value.

Yes, extensive documentation is included. Only original plug connections from the individual vehicle manufacturers are used.

The Diesel Power® and MultiMotion® optimization systems are designed so that installation can usually be carried out without any problems using our installation instructions and without special tools.

In a few individual cases where installation proves to be more difficult, our customer service will be happy to provide advice.

With normal, proper use, no reduction in service life is to be expected.

If the full additional power is used, the load on the engine increases. In return, the overall speed level can be reduced due to the optimized torque behavior.

In the rare event of a Diesel Power module malfunction during your journey, it's reassuring to know that it can be swiftly addressed, without causing significant delays. Here's how you can handle this situation:

1. **Identify the Issue**:

If you suspect that the Diesel Power module has failed, first, safely pull over to the side of the road and turn off your vehicle's engine. Conduct a visual inspection of the module and surrounding wiring, to check for any obvious signs, of damage or loose connections.

2. **Disconnect the Module**:

Diesel Power modules are typically designed, with quick-connect wiring harnesses, allowing for easy removal in case of malfunction. Locate the connector, that links the module to the vehicle's wiring harness. Depending on the design, this may involve releasing a locking tab or loosening a securing screw.

3. **Install a Blanking Plug**:

Once the module is disconnected, you can install a blanking plug in its place. Blanking plugs are simple devices that serve to bridge the connection points, in the wiring harness, effectively bypassing the module. This restores the vehicle to its original configuration, allowing you to continue your journey without relying on the malfunctioning module.

4. **Test and Resume Travel**:

After installing the blanking plug, restart your vehicle and ensure that it operates normally. Take a moment to test essential functions, such as engine performance, responsiveness, and dashboard indicators. If everything appears to be functioning correctly, you can safely resume your trip.

5. **Seek Professional Assistance**:

While installing a blanking plug may provide a temporary solution, it's important to have the Diesel Power module inspected and repaired by a qualified technician as soon as possible. They can diagnose the cause of the malfunction and either repair or replace the module to prevent future issues.

By following these steps, you can address a Diesel Power module failure, on the road and continue your journey with minimal interruption. Remember to prioritize safety at all times and seek professional assistance, for any unresolved issues or concerns regarding the module or your vehicle's performance.

The optimization is carried out through direct, characteristic-guided control of sensors and/or the injection valves, depending on the original parameters.

The Diesel Power® and MultiMotion® optimization systems are connected to central sensors such as fuel pressure, boost pressure, intake manifold pressure, speed, or to actuators such as injection valves. The sensor values are recorded in real time, optimized and passed on to the engine control unit. This means that the respective control parameters can be optimally adjusted for each driving condition.

With the digital SENT sensors, the Euro 6d ISC-FCM (Euro 6d Final), Euro 6e, Euro 7 “Ready” and Stage 5 engines, self-detection occurs within the first 1 – 2 milliseconds after “ignition on”, i.e. before the engine has started , the sensor system installed in the engine.

The factory-installed safety devices of the engine control unit remain untouched.

Power and torque specifications that are more than 15 - 17 % higher than the engine's standard values are technically not possible without overriding the safety components stored in the engine control unit. This requires direct intervention in the engine control unit software.

A Diesel Power module offers users tangible benefits, that can be felt in several aspects of their driving experience, ultimately leading to improved fuel efficiency. Here's how utilizing the additional horsepower and torque, provided by the module can result in better fuel economy:

1. **Enhanced Performance**:

By optimizing engine parameters such as fuel delivery and timing, a Diesel Power module unlocks additional horsepower and torque, particularly in the lower rev range. This means, that the vehicle can accelerate more effortlessly, handle heavy loads with greater ease, and navigate inclines or challenging terrain more effectively.

2. **Improved Driving Dynamics**:

With increased power available at lower engine speeds, drivers can achieve smoother and more responsive acceleration, without needing to rev the engine as high. This translates to a more relaxed and enjoyable driving experience, especially during city driving or when maneuvering in traffic.

3. **Reduced Engine Strain**:

When a vehicle has access to sufficient torque at lower RPMs, it can maintain momentum, with less effort. This means, that the engine doesn't need to work as hard to achieve the desired speed or power output. As a result, there's less strain on the engine, transmission, and other drivetrain components, leading to reduced wear and tear over time.

4. **Lower Fuel Consumption**:

One of the most significant benefits of utilizing the additional horsepower and torque, lower in the rev range, is improved fuel efficiency. When the engine can achieve the same level of performance, with fewer revolutions per minute (RPM), it consumes less fuel over a given distance. This is because less energy is expended to maintain speed or accelerate, resulting in lower fuel consumption and fewer trips to the fuel pump.

5. **Extended Range**:

With better fuel efficiency, drivers can enjoy extended driving range on a single tank of fuel. Whether commuting to work, embarking on a road trip, or hauling cargo, the ability to cover more distance per liter of fuel  adds convenience and saves money in the long run.

In summary, a Diesel Power module provides tangible benefits to users by unlocking additional horsepower and torque, particularly in the lower rev range. This not only enhances performance and driving dynamics but also contributes to improved fuel efficiency, by allowing the vehicle to achieve the same level of performance, with fewer RPMs. As a result, drivers can enjoy smoother acceleration, reduced engine strain, and extended driving range, all while saving money on fuel costs.
